Wagyu Games Debut Kill-to-Earn Game ‘Undead Blocks’: What is Kill-to-Earn?

As the first-person shooter (FPS) game, Undead Blocks is launching on Immutable X, Wagyu Games Executive Director Grant Haseley wants the game to be accessible, addictive, and a fun way to troll players.

Tiny Colony and GameStop’s NFT marketplace are already available on ImmutableX, an Ethereum-compatible (EVM) Layer 1 blockchain. The game is consistently releasing new kill to earn features.

Grant Haseley explained the kill-to-earn strategy

“Our game isn’t for pros, instead describing his title as a “kill-to-earn” social game that’s like “Mario Kart meets COD Zombies.”

According to Haseley, the game’s token, ZBUX, may be earned by players and redeemed for a variety of different tokens, such as Ethereum or Immutable’s IMX (ZBUX can be traded on Uniswap). Haseley comes from the financial services industry, in contrast to many other blockchain game developers who have backgrounds in the traditional games business. Before opting to launch his own gaming business, he had previously worked as a financial loan analyst at Goldman Sachs, as well as at the Bank of Hope and M&T Bank.

Haseley claimed that his intention with “Undead Blocks” was to make a zombie-themed game that everyone would enjoy playing.
